With the exception of the USPTO and PCT forms, the materials presented in the IPLegalEd course are copyright protected under the copyright laws of the United States and are the exclusive property of IPLegalEd. Uploading, framing, posting or otherwise incorporating any part of the course into another web site is not permitted without prior written consent of IPLegalEd. Except for personal, non-commercial use, the reproduction, copying, publication or distribution (including by e-mail) of all, or any part of this course, in any medium (printed, audio-recording, electronic, such as MP3s, CDs or discs, or any other) is forbidden without express written permission of the copyright owner.  Please do not breach these rules, it is unfair and illegal. If you wish to use some part of the course, for example for educational purposes, please contact us. You will find that we are generally more than happy to grant a limited license for a minimal (or no) fee plus an acknowledgement.

PRIVACY. We have gone to great lengths to protect your security and privacy online.  All credit card information is encrypted before being transmitted and processed via a secure gateway, at a secure site. IPLegalEd uses industry standard internet security methods and promises never to sell, rent, barter, or share with a third party personal information you provide during your use of our website or course.

LICENSE. The IPLegalEd course is sold as a “license” to the user.  The user may personally use all the materials, make a copy for his/her own use, and may print out the course materials for future reference, but the user does not "own" the course and may not use or copy it for any commercial purpose. Neither may the user, whether for a commercial or non-commercial purpose, modify it, share it, distribute it, publish it, broadcast it, record it (in any medium) upload it, post it on the internet, email it, or use it or any part of it, as the basis for any lecture, live or recorded.

ACCURACY OF INFORMATION. We have done our best to ensure that all the information contained in this course is accurate and up to date, and we try to keep it that way. But patent laws and rules do change occasionally, and although we regularly check for changes, we cannot guarantee that the course contains all the very latest information. This is particularly true with forms and fees, which are provided in this course as illustrative examples only. The user should NEVER simply use the forms and fees presented in the text of the course, but should always check for the latest forms and fees at the appropriate Patent Office web site or by telephoning the US Patent Office at 1-800-786-9199.

LIMITS OF LIABILITY. Liability of IPLegalEd, its staff, owners and agents, in connection with the course is absolutely limited to the cost of the course only, and is limited only to the signed up user of the course, and does not extend to any third party.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION. We anticipate that you will be absolutely delighted with the IPLegalEd course and that you will be happy to abide by all the standard terms of use.  However, in the highly unlikely event that any dispute should arise, the user and IPLegalED will settle their disagreement under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, and if any court action should ever occur, it will be conducted under the laws of California and the venue will be within San Francisco.   

RETURNED CHECKS. A fee of $29 will be charged for all returned ("bounced") checks.

REFUND POLICY A full refund will be given promptly if, for any reason, you find that after having signed up, you cannot use the site or cannot do the course. In order to get a refund, you must contact us, explain the problem, and specifically request a refund WITHIN ONE WEEK (7 DAYS) OF SIGNING UP.
